November’s Featured Artist is Caroline McLaughin, the Artistic Director of Studio 5.6.7.8 in Brantford with skills in many artistic forms including dance, drama, singing and aerial arts.
Caroline grew up in Toronto dancing and singing her whole life. She began teaching at 16 and that was the spark she needed to pursue educating children. Studio 5.6.7.8. has been a fixture in Brantford’s dance community for thirty years. The studio, comprised of approximately 400 students and 14 instructors, recently relocated from its established location on Dunsdon St. to a more central location at 85 Charing Cross St. In doing so, the studio doubled its footprint from 4,000 to 8,000 square feet with more space to accommodate its growing number of students.
