Krista DuChene is not originally from Brantford, unlike our other Tourism Ambassadors featured this week, but she has chosen to make Brantford her home for the past 17 years. DuChene moved here with her husband in 2002, and together they are raising their three children, working, and donating their time to local charitable causes in this great city.

It’s not easy to become a professional golfer when you live in Canada, especially Brantford, Ontario. We face harsh winters and short golf seasons, both not ideal for golfers. The Brantford Rotary Bike Park will be opening for its second season in the coming weeks. The Brant Cycling Club, a volunteer based organization focused on enhancing the cycling culture in Brantford and the County of Brant, is busy preparing the Bike Park for opening. This past long weekend, members of the Brant Cycling Club held "work parties" at the Bike Park.
