Lynden Park Mall happily opened its doors on Friday, June 12 as part of Stage 2 of the Province’s reopening plan, after being forced to close its doors in the middle of March in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, Lynden Park Mall has been a leader in the Brantford community by taking all the necessary safety precautions (and then some!) in order to make staff and visitors feel safe.

Winding Way Records recently announced that Chris Strei of Brantford has joined the label in a sync-rep agreement. Chris Strei is a singer/songwriter whose style has been compared to Chris Stapleton, Tom Petty, Doc Walker, and Tragically Hip. Chris draws on his life experiences for inspiration in his music. With composition influenced by blues, bluegrass, hard rock, and metal, Chris’s songs tell stories with a sense of universal perspective.

As September approaches, so does Orange Shirt Day, a day that commemorates the residential school experience, witnesses and honours the healing journey of the Survivors and their families, and commits to the ongoing process of reconciliation.
