The City of Brantford Economic Development and Tourism Department will be accepting applications for the 2022 Community Cultural Investment Program (CCIP) from Friday, November 12, 2021 to Friday, January 14, 2022 at 4:30 p.m.
Funded by the City of Brantford, the goals for the Community Cultural Investment Program are to:
The CCIP program has two streams: Annual Operating Grants, and Core Operating Grants/Museum Funding Agreements. Annual Operating Grants provide smaller grants for operating, programming, and administrative grants. These annual grants are for organizations that provide cultural programming as their primary activity. Core Operating Grants are 3-year operating grants that provide stability to established core cultural organizations.
The Brant Community Foundation makes recommendations for funding, and applications are assessed based on the following criteria: community benefit, activities, and services offered, management and fiscal responsibility, and volunteer involvement.
On Wednesday, November 24, 2021, from 6:00 to 7:00pm, the City of Brantford Economic Development and Tourism Department will be hosting a virtual CCIP Information Session on Zoom. Please e-mail Kara Davey, Arts & Culture Development Officer, at kdavey@brantford.ca to confirm your free registration. The information session will provide information about eligibility and assessment criteria, as well as tips for completing a successful application. All new applicants are required to attend the information session, or schedule a meeting with the Arts and Culture Development Officer to discuss their application in advance of the deadline. Previous and future applicants are welcome to attend.
The deadline for applications to the CCIP program is Friday, January 14, 2022 at 4:30pm.
