Today seems like a good day to highlight all of the delicious local bakeries and sweet shops we have in Brantford. Despite the social-distancing measures in place, we hope you all had a nice Easter weekend filled with delicious treats. While Cadbury and Hershey may still be the Easter leaders globally, we have many local shops that can rival these giants when it comes to snacks. Here’s a round-up of some of our favourites:
Brantwood Farms |251 Powerline Rd. | 519-759-4383
Brantwood Farms is known for their juicy summer strawberries or crisp autumn apples, and farm shop packed with freshly baked goods and local produce. Because Brantwood Farms is still an essential service, they are still very much open for business. Stop by (limited number of customers can be in the store at a time) and peruse their inventory in person. They have also listed their inventory on their website to make pre-ordering and pick-up especially simple. The inventory list will be updated on their website weekly on Wednesdays. Place an order by e-mailing info@brantwoodfarms.com or calling 519-759-4383. We highly recommend their selection of cookies, apple cider donuts, and frozen pies.
