Brantford Lights at Glenhyrst 2022

Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant, located at 20 Ava Rd. in Brantford, is pleased to announce that Brantford Lights at Glenhyrst will return from December 2, 2022 to January 1, 2023. See the 16-acre park along the banks of the Grand River transform in to a winter wonderland nightly from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Celebrating it's 10th year, the Brantford Lights will commence with the official “switch on” event on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. This evening will also coincide with the official opening of the Vibrant Palette Student Exhibit, which sees over 400 pieces of art from local students on display for the duration of the light show.

Patrons will be allowed to walk through the grounds. Parking is limited. Admission to the gallery and this event is free, although donations are appreciated. Collection bins are also available for Brantford Food Bank donations.

What's happening during 2022 Brantford Lights at Glenhyrst:

• Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant will be open to visitors on Thursday and Friday evenings before December 25 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Admission to the gallery is by donation. 
• Merry Little Market, one-of-a-kind artisan vendors, will be on-site for opening night on December 2 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• The Ugly Mug will be serving gourmet hot chocolate on Friday and Saturday evenings
• Rumple and Friends will host Santa’s Secret Hideout; a children’s interactive program on December 10-11, and 17-18 in the Cottage during the afternoon
• The Golden Teapot is taking reservations for Twilight Tea bookings so patrons can watch the lights turn on and enjoy a magical High Tea experience.
