Are you ready to explore the Grand River? If so, Brantford has two designated River Access Points that can be a great starting point, pit stop, or end destination for your paddling adventure.
In the summer of 2022, new signage was installed at both locations to improve visitors' experience. The signage includes a tourism information kiosk, a map of nearby attractions, and suggested paddling routes. QR codes on the kiosk allow visitors to learn more about off-river tourism businesses such as nearby shops, restaurants, public art, museums and galleries, and trails.
With picnic tables and opportunities for fishing, these access points offer more than just access to the river. Take a break from paddling and enjoy a picnic with family and friends, or try your luck at fishing.
The River Access Points in Brantford are an ideal spot to rest and relax during your paddling adventure. With convenient amenities and plenty of nearby attractions, there's no better way to experience the Grand River. So, what are you waiting for? Start planning your paddling trip now and discover all that Brantford has to offer.
