Join us for the second annual Culture Days on the Trails event on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. along a section of the SC Johnson Trail. Culture Days is a national celebration of arts and culture. Millions of people across the county attend these events, coming together to recognize the importance of arts and culture within local communities.
On September 21, attendees will be invited to walk along a 2.6 km stretch of Brantford's SC Johnson Trail between the Hardy Road parking lot and Lafayette Avenue and attend twelve free mini-concerts and performances featuring painters, musicians, and dancers. Parking will be available at the parking lots on Hardy Road and at the Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant (20 Ava Rd.). On-street parking is also available on Parkside Drive, between Dufferin Avenue and Preston Boulevard. View the event map for more information.
Altitude Coffee Roasters will be parked near the lower bowl at Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant with their full-service coffee shop trailer, featuring hot and cold beverages.

Attendees are also invited to visit the Grand River Arts Festival happening on the grounds of the Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant on the same day. The Grand River Arts Festival is a celebration and exhibition of visual arts, music, and theatre. The event will include 50+ exhibiting artists who will sell their works, 16 theatre performances participating in the 10-Minute Play Competition, The Grand Impressionists painting competition, Brantford Potter’s Guild sale in the Gardener’s Cottage, performance art by Big Cityyy Arts, food trucks and all-day musical performances on the main outdoor stage.
