Discover Brantford is Rainbow Registered

Discover Brantford will be organizing group learning opportunities for local tourism partners and businesses who would like to become Rainbow Registered. If you are a Brantford-based tourism partner or business and would like to participate, please email tourism@brantford.ca.

Discover Brantford is pleased to announce that it is officially Rainbow Registered – an accreditation awarded to 2SLGBTQI+ friendly spaces by Canada’s 2SLGBTQI+ Chamber of Commerce. 

What does being Rainbow Registered mean?

Rainbow Registered is a national accreditation for LGBT+ friendly businesses and organizations. When you see a Rainbow Registered symbol, you know the business or organization meets a stringent set of standards to ensure LGBT+ customers feel safe, welcomed, and accepted. The accreditation program grants a time-limited recognition to businesses and organizations for demonstrating compliance with the quality standard. Accredited businesses that are Rainbow Registered help travelers identify welcoming and inclusive communities and experiences in order to better plan their travel. 

How does a business become Rainbow Registered?

Discover Brantford is the first Rainbow Registered organization in Brantford and will be working with the CGLCC to host engagement opportunities for Brantford tourism partners and businesses who are interested in starting the process to apply to become accredited Rainbow Registered businesses.
