Fall Fun At Brantwood Farms

Email icon Back to Search
brantwoodfarms

The dog days of summer are over, kids are going back to school, and the crisp fall air is greeting us every morning and gradually sticking around longer each day. That might be a depressing thought for some, and a welcome thought for others. Wherever you stand on cold weather, you can’t deny the beauty and fun that is fall with the changing leaves and all things pumpkin! In Brantford, there’s no better place to welcome the fall season than at Brantwood Farms.

Brantwood Farms is a family-owned and operated farm open May to December that offers fun family events, delicious baked goods and the opportunity to pick-your-own strawberries, apples and pumpkins during harvest time. Pick-your-own strawberries in mid-June and July, and apples and pumpkins daily throughout September and October.

Brantwood Farms Fall Festival is back! Every Saturday and Sunday in September and October you can enjoy fun for the whole family with a variety of activities to try. General admission to Brantwood Farms includes: a hayride, forest trails and flowerpot fairy village, corn maze, farm animals, haunted barn, straw castle, apple slingshots, story book barn, giant slide, farm hoppers, tree fort play area, apple scavenger hunt and, of course, lots of tasty food and treats.

New this year, Brantwood Farms is selling tickets to their Fall Festival in advance. There are a limited number of tickets available each day, so you can select how many are coming with you and rest assured that the festival will be safe and physically distanced – and just as much fun. These procedures have been implemented to promote enhanced cleaning, physical distancing and reduced contact. Follow all posted instructions while visiting Brantwood Farms.

The hayride at the Fall Festival is also a must-do. The ride takes you deep into the back fields of the farm where you can take a scenic walk across a babbling brook, goof around on the outdoor playground equipment and pick your own pumpkins right from the patch. It’s an authentically fall experience that’s fun for the whole family. Just don’t forget your ‘return ticket’ to get back on the hayride! (*HINT* It has something to do with Farmer Tom’s favourite hockey team.)

Brantwood Farms offers many events throughout the year, including an Easter Egg Hunt, Sunflower Experience, Flower Picking and more. Their events are always carefully thought out, well run and guaranteed fun for the whole family. Between the beautiful atmosphere and the heavenly aromas pouring out of the bake shop, it’s impossible not to have a good time (or to leave empty handed!)

The Fall Festival is on each Saturday and Sunday through September and October, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. General Admission Tickets cost $13 per person, with children 23 months and under free. Reserve your tickets now. A small number of walk-ups will be permitted.

Visit Brantwood Farms at 251 Powerline Rd. in Brantford or on the web at www.brantwoodfarms.com  for more information.
