Now more than ever, staying close to home is the smart and safe thing to do. While many of us are looking for familiarity in these times of uncertainty, embracing new practices opens up a world of possibility. On an individual basis, taking on a simple, new adventure can be a breath of fresh air. For local businesses, your adventure to their doorstep can make a world of a difference.
We all go grocery shopping. Why not take an adventure to a local farm fresh store and #supportlocal families and vendors who have adapted their business to meet the growing restrictions on social interaction.
Brantwood Farms | 251 Powerline Rd. | 519-759-4383
Brantwood Farms is currently planting their crops for the year and at the beginning of April the first tomato flower was found on one of their plants. While they continue to tend to their own crops, they are keeping Brantford supplied with fresh fruits and veggies, local milk, dairy, eggs and meat, fresh made bread and baked goods, as well as honey, preserves and ciders. Open Friday-Sunday they are observing two metre social distancing, limiting customers in their store to five at a time, and offering email and phone ordering with curbside pick-up. When you shop at Brantwood Farms you are supporting their business, but also local suppliers like Sheldon Creek Dairy and Blue Sky Beef by the Craig Family Farm. Order over the phone by calling 519-759-4383 or by emailing info@brantwoodfarms.com. Pay with tap when you arrive.
Visit the Brantwood Farms website to view their inventory (updated weekly on Wednesdays) or follow them on Facebook.
