While we all want to do our part to flatten the curve, social distancing and the mandated closing of non-essential businesses brings hardships and stress for individuals and for many of the small businesses in our community.  The good news is, you can help to support our local businesses now so that we can enjoy their services and products long after this is over.

A new social media initiative #Brantforddelivers, started by Jennifer Babister, local realtor with Royal Lepage Action Realty, is helping to spread the word about the many wonderful local small businesses that are offering free delivery, curbside pickup, or who have taken proactive safety measures to stay open, so that you can still shop local while staying safe. 

Highlighted businesses are listed in several categories such as local eats, home care, personal/business, family, and self-care and are updated daily on the Facebook group Brantford COVID-19 Local Business Delivery.

Mother’s Day is coming up May 10, 2020, and what better way to appreciate the maternal bonds in your life, or any mother that you admire, than with a beautiful Mother’s Day cookie from San Agostino’s Italian Bakery & Fine Foods. They are offering walk in, curbside pickup, or will deliver for you with special hours on Mother’s Day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..  Check out their website for full menus (also with keto, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options) and daily specials.
