Brantford Farmers' Market
The Brantford Farmers' Market is a must-visit destination for foodies and lovers of artisanal products. The market offers a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and other delicious foods. You can also find products such as popcorn, coffee, and baked goods. The market is open on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts
The Sanderson Centre is a beautiful historic theatre in the heart of downtown Brantford that hosts a variety of shows and performances throughout the year. Gamerz Galaxy
Gamerz Galaxy is Brantford’s newest gaming arcade that features over 30 games, rental spaces for celebrations, birthdays and corporate events, plus a snack bar with ample seating. Woodland Cultural Centre
The Woodland Cultural Centre serves to preserve, promote and strengthen Indigenous language, culture, art and history; bringing the story of the Hodinohsho:ni people of the Eastern Woodlands to life through innovative exhibitions and programs. Their permanent museum is presented as a journey through time, featuring artifacts from prehistoric, historic and contemporary times. The museum offers visitors the chance to experience pre/post-contact Southern Ontario as seen through the eyes of the different Indigenous Nations that have occupied this land. Proto-Iroquoian culture, Neutral Iroquoians, the Confederacy of the Haudenosaunee, and the modern communities of Wahta Mohawks, Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte, and Six Nations of the Grand River are represented in this unique timeline journey. Explore our trails
Brantford has a number of beautiful trails to explore, even during the winter months! Whether you want to take a leisurely stroll or hit the trails on your winter fat bike, there are plenty of options to choose from. While there are many points in the city in which to access the trails, there are some that are easier to access than others, including: Oak Park Rd., Hardy Rd., Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant, Wilkes Dam and Waterworks Park.
Bell Homestead National Historic Site
Take a one-hour guided tour of the Bell family home and Canada’s first telephone office. Tours for up to 8 people are given on the hour from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. from Tuesday to Friday. Pre-book your tour in advance. All tours of the historic homes must be guided. Self-tours are not permitted.
