IGNITE is for dancers of all ages: Junior (9 & under), Inter (10-13), and Senior (14+). Offering classes in a variety of dance styles, including: jazz, tap, contemporary, ballet, lyrical, musical theatre, ballroom, hip hop and jazz funk, IGNITE brings a unique and reputable faculty of leading industry professionals to the community from all over North America.
Faculty members include: Josh Lamb (World of Dance), Sophie Pittman (Knicks City Dance), Jordan Clark (So You Think You Can Dance Canada Winner), Artur Adamski (Dancing With the Stars), Jazelle Torre (Project 21 & Club Dance) and many more. With more than 10 faculty members, spanning two countries of work, from Los Angeles to New York and everywhere in between, IGNITE is bringing the best of the very best to Brantford with choreographers who have worked with stars such as Ne-Yo, Doja Cat, Kanye West, Shawn Desman and Nelly Furtado.
In its second season, IGNITE Dance Convention is excited to host in Brantford, a city known for its rich sports hosting history, and 25+ year tenure as ‘Tournament Capital of Ontario.’ Despite the abundance of dance competitions that routinely visit the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts, this will be the first dance convention hosted in the city.
