For the whole month of June, let’s all celebrate Bike Month by pedaling and adding cycling to your activities. With plenty of trails and bike lanes, Discover Brantford wants to encourage the city to participate.
To help get involved, The City of Brantford is hosting some activities and events for Bike Month.
Here is a brief overview:
Bike Month Scavenger Hunt:
For the whole month of June there will be a Bike Month Scavenger Hunt throughout the City. There will be scavenger hunt signs with QR codes placed at 9 locations throughout Brantford. It is done at your own pace throughout the month and when a sign is found, scan the QR code to submit a photo of yourself with your bike in front of the sign. This will enter you into a draw at the end of the month to win some prizes! The more signs found, the more entries you will receive.
Community Bike Rides:
There will be 5 bike rides offered on a Monday evening. These rides are open to anyone and free to join. Meeting time for each one is 6:45pm and rides will take approximately an hour with about 12km of riding. This is a great way to get familiar with the different neighbourhoods and area in Brantford!
