Tayshun Ally has been tinkering and fixing computers and technological issues since he was a kid. In his family and his neighbourhood growing up he called himself, “the local tech guy.” He took this love of all things technology and educated himself at Sheridan College in their Software Development and Engineering program, holding high marks in all of his classes. Not satisfied with just one educational avenue, he also completed a program in Music Industry Arts.
So where has all this knowledge and passion landed him? He’ll take on just about any project he can get his hands on. After working at Key 2 Communications doing cabling, network set ups, security camera installations and many other projects, as well as at Rogers, he decided it was time to organize the growing side projects he was accomplishing, into a business. Little Cat Media was opened in May 2019 along with his partner Salome. Together they make a productive pair, combining his abilities and her eye for creative design. Their services include website coding and design, device repair and upgrades, home theatre and sound system installation, purchasing advice and much, much more.
Because of their combined skill set, at its core, Little Cat Media is a consulting company. Tayshun loves his work because of the challenge and the puzzles it presents to him on a regular basis. If his knowledge can’t solve your problem, it’s highly likely he knows someone who can!
As a member of the black community in Brantford he shared that although he hasn’t been untouched by racial divides he looks at the world around him and realizes that he’s blessed to live in Canada and to call Brantford home.
