Plan Your Cycling Route in Brantford with These Amenities and Trail Tips

As the cycling season approaches with April in sight, Brantford emerges as a hub of over 70km of natural trails offering endless cycling opportunities. To ensure you make the most of your cycling experience when the warmer weather hits, Discover Brantford is pleased to provide you with a list of amenities located throughout the trails.

Washrooms (times they are open will vary throughout the season):

  • Mohawk Park – 51 Lynnwood Drive
  • Earl Haig Family Fun Park – 101 Market Street South
  • Waterworks Park – 400 Grand River Ave
  • John Wright Soccer Complex – 45 Fifth Ave
  • Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant – 20 Eva Road

There are also a few seasonal washrooms located at:

  • Cockshutt Boat Launch – 458 Erie Ave
  • Ballantyne Boat Launce – Ballantyne Road
  • Hardy Road Trails Public Parking – 250 Hardy Road

Bicycle Repair Stands:

With many bike racks located at various parks throughout the city, the following three rack locations also have repair stands:

  • Jaycee Sports Park – 395 Dunsdon Street
  • Mohawk Park - 51 Lynnwood Drive
  • Rotary Bike Park (Waterworks Park) – 400 Grand River Ave
