Public art that is white and patterned in the shape of a horseshoe called Hope.

To coincide with the launch of Discover Brantford’s beautiful new website, the Tourism division is also pleased to share the creation of a Public Art StoryMap. Using ArcGIS Technology, the Tourism division created an interactive map that highlights all seventeen pieces in the City of Brantford’s Public Art Collection.

The StoryMap is a visual representation of Public Art in Brantford. You can search by the piece, viewing the artwork and discovering more about its history and artist. You can also zoom in on the map and find Public Art in the City by location. This is especially handy if you’re a Public Art enthusiast who is interested in visiting more than one piece. This map will help you determine the proximity of these pieces.

We are proud of our history and vision for the future. Brantford’s Public Art Collection reflects some of our community’s most important people, places and stories:

  • Alexandra Park Cannon
  • Bell Memorial
  • Boer War Memorial
