Brantford’s brand new restaurant, Soulful Kafe, opened in May 2020 on Brant Avenue and is quickly becoming a local favourite for Portugese and Italian lunch and dinner by delivery, take out or patio.
Their menu features delicious homemade pizzas (available on both regular and cauliflower crust) in flavor combinations like Bruschetta, Jerk Chicken, and Vegetarian Harvest, which features seasonal vegetables. Their sandwiches are a delicious lunch option, and fan favourites include the Eggplant Parm layered with mozzarella (a must try for eggplant doubters!) and their Bifana Sandwich, which is a classic Portugese handheld meal featuring marinated pork cutlet on a Portugese bun, served with fries and a drink. If you’re feeding a family, check out their Family Meals, such as their Piri-Piri, Herb or Jerk Chicken with 2 sides (also available as a half portion).
