The Brantford-Brant Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business program invites women to make personable connections and grow their business networks through activities, learning and engagement.
Since the Chamber isn’t able to host their annual Wine, Women and Shopping event this holiday season, they’ve decided to incorporate similar elements and host a Women in Business Christmas Business Blitz from November 30 – December 4, 2020.
Instead of Chamber members gathering at one local venue for a night of shopping, food and networking, the Christmas Business Blitz encourages members to explore our small business community and shop local.
From Monday, November 30 to Friday, December 4, participating businesses will welcome Brantford-Brant Chamber of Commerce members from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to shop til’ you drop!
Participating businesses will still be open to the public during this time, but pre-registered Chamber members and their guests will have a chance to win a door prize. Pre-register for the event online at brantfordbrantchamber.com/events.
Currently, participating businesses include: The Beauty Barn Spa, Dragonfly Landscape Supply, MODO Yoga Brantford, and Wylde Rose Handmade Soaps.
The Brantford Brant Chamber of Commerce supports various non-profit members throughout the year by donating proceeds collected through event raffles and ticket sales. When you pay the $20 registration fee for the Christmas Business Blitz, 100% of the proceeds will be donated entirely to the local food bank.
Wear your ugly Christmas sweater or favourite Christmas scarf, but don’t forget a festive mask to safely shop and network throughout the week!
