Stay Caffeinated

Anybody else living on a caffeine drip these days? Whether it’s my morning jolt, my afternoon boost, unseasonably cold weather warm-up or just for the taste you can find me drinking a caffeinated beverage…let’s just call it often.  Personally, I gravitate towards coffee and every morning starts with the sound of my programmed coffee maker brewing the first pot. Lately, with stay at home guidelines, I’ve been expanding my palette on a more regular basis and enjoying tea in the afternoon. While I can’t call myself an expert on either and consumption is often a function of habit (or survival) for many of us, there are several businesses in town that are masters of the art of coffee and tea, and for them, it’s all about the experience.

Get your beans whole, ground or in single serve cups with plenty of options for every coffee preference. More of a tea drinker? They have that, too – bagged, loose leaf and single serve. Flavour your beverage with syrup or pair it with a sweet snack, follow it with a smoothie and clean it all up with one of their tailored cleaning products. While its patrons are missing the cozy café atmosphere, a sentiment we can all appreciate, The Blue Dog Café has swiftly taken to online offerings, with a tidy and user friendly online store. Order in-house coffee beans, loose leaf teas or ciders and while you’re there take a look at their Bundles, which offer a beverage paired with a puzzle or board game.
