The Best Restaurants For Students

This week, Tourism Brantford is rolling out the welcome mat to all new and returning students from Conestoga College's Brantford Campus, Wilfrid Laurier University's Brantford Campus and Six Nations Polytechnic. Today, we'll be sharing some insider information on the best places for students to dine outside of campus.

Breakfast

Sunset Grill*, located at 50 Market Street, offers all-day breakfast so you can fill your stomach without emptying your wallet. Enjoy eggs, home fries, pancakes, French toast, hash browns, sausage, and bacon and start your day off right.

Lunch

The Works Burger Bistro*, located at 80 Dalhousie Street, has been newly renovated and redesigned for this school year. This restaurant’s specialty is burgers…with the works. We recommend wasing your meal down with a craft beer or one of their delicious milkshakes. 

Dinner

Boston Pizza*, located at 50 Market Street, is the perfect place to grab a drink and order pizza and wings.

Take-out

Goo’s, located at 230 Shellard Lane, is known for their trademark Goo Burger. If burgers aren't your thing, you can also grab a poutine, wrap, sandwich, hot dog, or chicken fingers. Goo’s has it all, and gluten friendly options are available on most menu items.

Study Snacks

Gino’s Pizza*, located at 63 Brant Avenue, offers a great selection of pizzas with pop, chips or garlic breadsticks at a great price. During the week, there are often a number of people lined up during their lunch breaks, but you can also order delivery by calling 519-759-0505. We also recommend grabbing some candy from Total Convenience next door afterwards too.

Date Night

Nine North Viet Thai Cuisine*, located at 85 Dalhousie Street, is the kind of place you see on your friend’s Instagram. It’s steps away from Harmony Square and they always do an amazing job plating their pad thai, rice dishes, soups, and stir frys - and the taste is just as impressive.
