Tim Hortons Community Room Reopening

The team at the Brantford Visitor & Tourism Centre is looking forward to welcoming guests back into the Tim Hortons Community Room starting October 1, 2020. The meeting room features approximately 500 square feet of adaptable space with tables and chairs, audiovisual equipment and a podium. Guidelines for rentals have been updated with increased health and safety protocols in response to COVID-19.

Meetings will be welcomed that fit within the following guidelines:

1. Maximum 10 person capacity inside the Tim Hortons Community Room.
2. Maximum 1 meeting per day, to allow for proper cleaning.
3. Masks must be worn at all times inside the building and the Tim Hortons Community Room.
4. Food and beverage items are not available at this time.
5. Use of the in-house screen, projector, and podium are available with advanced notice.
6. The use of City of Brantford laptops is not available.
7. Not-for-profit organizations: the Tim Hortons Community Room is available for rental free of charge Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
8. For-profit businesses or organizations: the Tim Hortons Community Room is available for rental a rate of $60.00 +HST per hour Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There is no half hour rate.
9. Evening rentals outside regular hours of operation will be charged a fee of $60.00 +HST per hour up to 9:00 p.m. to both Not-for-profit and For-profit businesses or organizations. There is no half hour rate.
10. A rental contract must be signed and returned to the Brantford Visitor & Tourism Centre to confirm your booking.
11. Payment in full must be received prior to being given room access. Tenders accepted include: cash, credit or debit. All payments are non-refundable.
12. Cancellations must be provided by verbal or written notice within 7 days of the booking date.

The City of Brantford will be updating their meeting protocols on an ongoing basis in response to COVID-19. If any changes occur that affect an event scheduled in the Tim Hortons Community Room, we will update the rental requirements accordingly.
