Tourism Brantford awarded #SafeTravels Stamp

Tourism Brantford is delighted to announce that it has been awarded the #SafeTravels Stamp. The Safe Travels Stamp is an international symbol designed to allow travellers to recognize governments and companies around the world, which have adopted health and hygiene, standardized protocols – so consumers can experience ‘Safe Travels’.

Upon reopening in July, Tourism Brantford implemented new health and safety measures at the Brantford Visitor & Tourism Centre so that visitors will feel comfortable coming into the building and learning more local activities and attractions. Contact tracing, social distancing reminders, plexiglass boundaries, and increased cleaning of high touch points are implemented to keep staff and visitors safe, while still allowing for friendly interactions. Brochures on Brantford and surrounding areas are available upon request and the Tourism Counsellors can provide helpful tips to help you plan a fun day or weekend in Brantford. As with all public indoor spaces in the City of Brantford, masks are required to be worn at all times inside the Brantford Visitor & Tourism Centre.

Brantford is a small community that has worked hard to reopen almost all tourism related businesses after the initial closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
