Join us for Culture Days on the Trails on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the SC Johnson Trail, starting at the Hardy Road parking lot and ending at Lafayette Avenue. Twelve artists comprised of painters, musicians and dancers will be performing at this year's event.
Altitude Coffee Roasters will be on-site at the lower parking lot of Glenhyrst Art Gallery with their full service coffee shop trailer, featuring hot and cold beverages. Parking will be available at the parking lots on Hardy Rd. and at the bottom of Glenhyrst Art Gallery, as indicated on the map below. The rain date for this event is Sunday, September 22, 2024.

Calm Canopy is the solo project of Paris, Ontario based producer and recording artist Mike Papaloni. He writes in a style that he calls "Optimist-core indie rock", generally optimistic sounding, upbeat pop/rock with some jazz influences that bleed out into the guitar work. His newest album "Optimist Park" is a collection of 9 songs that explore how we deal with our past, love, anxiety attacks, and questioning the status-quo. Moses was most recently the host of Compelling Conversations on CKRZ 100.3FM and the host of ELMNT FM's flagship daily talk show program “Moment of Truth”(2018-2022). David is of Lenape (Delaware) Turtle Clan from Six Nations and also shares a Welsh heritage. In 2003, David recorded a demo song called “The Monkey Dog” based on a true Six Nations’ story, it was an instant hit and received write ups in the local papers plus a full page of the entertainment section of the Brantford Expositor. She has also enjoyed learning and performing different dance styles including semi-classical, folk, Indian contemporary, creative, bollywood etc. Sumedha has always been passionate about building communities through dance. Since moving to Canada, she has collaborated with a few prominent artists in Canada and has performed at prestigious events. |

Volunteer at Culture Days on the Trails! The City of Brantford is looking for volunteers for the Culture Days on the Trails event happening on Saturday September 21, 2024. A volunteer shift is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the SC Johnson Trail. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to assist local artists, engage with the public, and spread the joy of culture and creativity. This is an outdoor event that will require standing, walking and/or light lifting. Apply to be a volunteer.
