| Description | The Boer War Memorial was erected in 1903. During the Boer threat in South Africa in 1899, 30 Brantford men volunteered to serve with either the Canadian or British units giving the city its first war heros and casualties. The monument was commissioned in memory of these men. The Boer War Memorial is further adorned with a Howitzer cannon. |
