The Polish War Veterans Memorial is one of two war memorials in Tom Thumb Park. The memorial commemorates the contribution of Polish combatants and Canadian soldiers during the WW II. The monument was donated to the City of Brantford by the Polish Combatants Association of Canada Branch 4 – Brantford. It was unveiled by Paul Lojko and was dedicated on September 18, 2011. The dedication ceremony included both the Polish and Canadian National Anthems as well as several acts of Remembrance including the Last Post, the placing of wreaths and a march of a Colour Guard.
