On Saturday, May 9, 2026, the Grand River will come alive for Doors Open Along the Grand. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., explore 18 unique heritage buildings and sites spanning Brantford, the County of Brant, and Six Nations of the Grand River, free of charge. While most locations will offer self-guided tours, a few will have specific entry guidelines:

- Bell Homestead National Historic Site (note: will be closed from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.)
- Brantford Flight Centre (tours available at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., no registration required)
